Despite missing key scorers Jalen Johnson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker in their recent game against the Wizards, the Hawks found success with strong performances from their new additions. Kispert scored a career-high 33 points, CJ McCollum contributed 25 points, and Jonathan Kuminga added 27 and 17 points in only his third game back from injury.

Portland’s Scoot Henderson, a native of the north Atlanta suburbs, has made an impact since returning from injury and impressing Coach Tiago Splitter with his all-around play.

Injured players for Portland include Deni Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe, while Donovan Clingan returned to action after a brief absence due to illness. The Trail Blazers have won their last three matchups against the Hawks, including a 117-101 victory on Jan. 15.
